Membership

Membership has opened for the 2023-2024 school year, and we would be thrilled to have you on board! Whether you are a parent, student, teacher/staff member, or community member, the Kentwood PTSA welcomes all individuals.

By joining the PTSA, you are enabling us to continue providing and expanding programs that serve each student at Kentwood High School – without any obligation to volunteer your time or attend meetings. We also provide regular communications to keep you up-to-date about activities on campus.

Annual dues are $15 for an individual, $12 for a staff member, and $10 for a student; or discount packages are available for groups. Email membership@kentwoodcommunityptsa.org with questions.

What does the Kentwood PTSA do?

While there are many booster clubs on campus that focus on a sport or activity, the PTSA aims to support the education and well-being of every student at Kentwood. Through partnerships with the staff and extended community, we want to help remove barriers to success and provide opportunities for students to make lasting connections and create cherished memories. Our programs include:

  • Senior Celebration

  • Staff Appreciation

  • Reflections

  • Annual Awards

  • Senior Scholarships

  • Clothing Bank

  • Advocacy

  • Communications/Website

  • Spirit Wear

  • Student Services

What are the benefits of joining the PTSA?

Research widely indicates a positive correlation between higher parent engagement in schools and better outcomes for students. As a member of the PTSA, you will have the opportunity to get involved in numerous activities that strengthen the student experience at Kentwood while you build valuable relationships with teachers and staff. Even if you will not be volunteering, your membership is critical in maintaining the PTSA's presence and programs in the school. We appreciate and value every single member!
